Hi, I'm Alex and I'm years old and this website documents my education, my Jobs, and Projects I have done over the years.
While at school I was always seen as the nerdy kid which made me a target for being bullied but I stuck to it and achieved what is known as a nerds job, An IT technician; and I got to experience lots of extra things that are not part of the curriculum but linked closely back to it such as my unity game Population blast. I also disied when I was done with collage and sixth form to do music technology which I achieved the highest grade possible 2 Distinctions.
But don't worry the website is not just my education I also have my projects that I have done To name a few I have my server/home lab that I enjoy working on that is an ongoing project as well as my discord bot flint coal that has been a but of a ride over the years.
At the Buckinghamshire UTC now know as Aylesbury UTC I spent 4 years learning IT this includes Information technology as well as computing and Digital media, I did both GCSE and Six Form at the UTC and learned lots of skill with helped me get my Job at the school. With the UTC being specialized in all things computing while I was there I got do work with the school sponsors on projects like my Unity game Propultion blast and my web skills with Jetfruit as well as Get a licence to Netcad from CISCO.
At Bucks College Group Amersham, I did a 2 year Extended diploma in music technology which was a tone of fun which I achieved 2 distinctions from University of Arts London. While I was at the collage I made a few songs which you can find on Spotify and a web portfolio to document as my cause work. I got to use a mix of both analogue equipment as well as digital plugins and Dolby Atmos workflows with experiences in both live and recorded environments.
From 2017 to 2020 I worked as a Newspaper Boy Delivering to a small village near me for a local budgens. I would arrive at 7am gather my two rounds of papers and set off delivering them before school for a small amount of money that I would save to buy new games and part for my Computer. When other paper delivers didn’t turn up I would pick up there rounds for the extra cash.
From 2020 to 2024 I worked as a Lifeguard (recreational assistant) I was tasked with keep public leisure swimmers, lane swimmers, swimming lessons, club swimmers and competition safe. I would lifeguard across 2 pools with depth of 2M with features like lazy rivers and bubble tubs. With safety being key I would rescue swimmers, administer first aids and advice safe swimming.
From 2025 to Present I have worked as a Junior IT Technician for Chiltern Way Academy Trust (CWAT) looking after the IT Systems and Server in 3 Schools in Buckinghamshire I was also recruited for my Linux skills to help them develop an affordable Esports Server integrated with Microsoft Azure logins to save them £15,000 a year.
Flyntcoal was a Discord bot that played YouTube, Spotify, URL's and files but recently (December 2022) the bot was met with a YouTube tack down and with 98% of music requested coming from YouTube the bot become not very functional.
